The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic customer-focused Guest Service Agents to join our Front Office Team. The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests of the Hotel. You will be the face of our hotel and have a direct impact on the guest experience.

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the ideal candidate will be motivated, personable and outgoing. There are full-time and Part-time opportunities and the successful candidates will receive a competitive hourly rate along with other benefits that we offer!

Talent Profile


WHAT YOU DO:

  • Ensures delivery of high-standard customer service to all guests
  • Advises guests on local events, transport, and tour services;
  • Maintains current knowledge of hotel daily events, promotions, and departmental operating hours
  • Understands guest billing process as per received reservation
  • Capitalises on opportunities to upsell the Hotel, facilities, and outlets
  • Ensures Hotel departments are updated on relevant guest information

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Exceptional rapport-building skills
  • Proficient in modern technology
  • Knowledge of the Opera PMS is desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in hospitality, tourism, or related discipline (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, mornings, afternoons and weekends
